I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Mamata Mittal in both eyes. It was a delicate procedure since one of the affected eyes was partially compromised. My eyesight and my life have been saved by Dr Mamta Mittal. I am forever indebted to her. I went to her with severe headache and sudden loss of vision in my left eye. In no time, she examined and assessed the severity of my condition and ordered some lab tests. She then inquired about my other health issues and referred me to the rheumatologist. My CRP was very high and rising. She diagnosed me suffering from Giant cell Arteritis and started high dose pulse steroid treatment. I regained my full vision in two days. She referred me to a surgeon also for some biopsy from my temples to confirm the diagnosis. I was amazed at her intellect, speed, and her network.
